The Great Indian Kapil Show is returning for its third season on June 21, and this time, viewers are in for a major surprise. Comedian Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy show will now feature not one but two familiar faces in the judging chairs — Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Sidhu, who was an integral part of earlier seasons in the show’s television avatar, is set to return to the spotlight after years away. This time, instead of replacing Archana, he will join her. The two will share the stage for the first time on the Netflix version of the show, marking a new format for the series. The decision to bring Sidhu back comes after increasing demand from fans who missed his signature presence, poetic interludes, and chemistry with Kapil and Archana.
In keeping with its evolving format, the show is also opening its stage to select fans. This season introduces the concept of “Superfans,” where chosen members of the audience will share the stage with Kapil Sharma. They will interact with the cast, participate in sketches, and even get their own moment under the spotlight.
Kapil Sharma commented that the third season aims to expand the show’s family and energy. According to him, the return of Sidhu brings back a sense of familiarity and celebration. He expressed his happiness about sharing the platform with both Sidhu and Archana, calling the mood of the season bigger than before.
Sidhu, reflecting on his return, called it a homecoming. He said that the show had always felt like family and that he was responding to the calls of viewers who missed the old interactions. He credited the platform and the production team for reuniting everyone and said he hoped the upcoming episodes would bring joy to audiences worldwide.
Alongside Kapil and the returning judges, the new season will also feature familiar names like Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda. With the core cast back and new elements in place, the show promises a fresh round of laughter every week exclusively on Netflix.
