Padakkalam OTT Release: After a theatrical run that began on May 8, 2025, the Malayalam fantasy-comedy Padakkalam is now set for its digital debut. The film, written and directed by Manu Swaraj, will begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 10. The platform confirmed the release date through its official social media channels on Monday.

Padakkalam brings together actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sharafudheen, and Sandeep Pradeep in lead roles, weaving a plot that blends fantasy elements with comedic undertones. The film’s narrative revolves around a group of comic book-obsessed students who, through a series of bizarre events and body swaps, find themselves up against a charismatic professor harboring sinister plans.

The film introduces an unconventional body-swapping concept that shapes much of the comedy and conflict. Sandeep Pradeep portrays Jithin, who later becomes Renjith post a body swap. Suraj Venjaramoodu appears as Shaji, who ends up in Jithin’s body, while Sharafudheen takes on the role of Renjith, later transforming into Shaji. The cast also includes Saaf, Arun Pradeep, Arun Ajikumar, Niranjana Anoop, Pooja Mohanraj, and Ishan Shoukath in supporting roles.
